Been playing and enjoying the BSG game, however I'm on the level where you follow the raider formation for minutes (seems longer) before al hell breaks loose and you have to take out the station.

I know eventually I'll get it, but it's so damn annoying having to do the formation flying all over again each time that I've stopped playing the game.

Now I am sure there are additional codes beyond those that were already released. Are we ever going to get those? Maybe a "skip level" code so I can go on and enjoy this game again?

I know it's cheating, but right now that level has taken the fun out of the game for me.

Is it possible James Swllow has more codes to reveal? Could someone ho knows him kindly ask?

Just a thought.

There are no additional codes. There aren't even any save points like in medal of Honor:Rising Sun. When Iphi says the thingy is opening up get ready to fire you can play the game ie destroy Cylons. Make all kinds of erratic moves so they can't lock on, clear the sky of the ships. Once they are gone, concentrate on station defenses. Move the Raider though because you will be finished. Move away from the station and come back so you can see the top. Iphi will give you a message that the reactor is finally open. Head for the sides of the station and take out more defenses. There are three things that look like lamps when the doors open. Destroy them and the voice says to get away from the station. The level ends and the grading report given.

To be quite honest....

I've been stuck on the part of the game where you have to disable those beam emitters and destroy a Cylon ship hidden in an asteroid for the better part of the year now....

I still have a blast playing the game, but I keep getting killed!

There's a game cheat device I could buy for PS2?

How exactly does that work?

Does it work for all games?

And where do I buy it?

I'd be happy if they made a fracking joystick to use with the PS2.... I hate that game pad and all the buttons! :(

Here are some good cheats for the PS2:

Choose "Options" from the main menu, then select "Extras" and Press UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT, UP, UP, LEFT, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT at the Extras Menu.

All of the Extras will be unlocked except the "Movies". This code also adds a new "Cheat Menu" option on the Options Menu; use it to toggle invincibility, max out your missles or set up wingmen options.

Ultimate Wingman

Choose "Options" from the main menu, then select "Extras" and press DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, DOWN, UP, RIGHT, RIGHT at the Extras menu. Apollo and Starbuck will be as assigned as your wingmen, even if you're starting a new game.

I think there are two competing systems for game hacking.

Basically someone figures out where in memory a certain variable is kept. Like how damaged you are, or how much energy you have used up for turbos and guns. Then you load up a special cd which runs a program in you playstation or xbox. After you load up the program and tell it what memory blocks to alter and what you want to put into them, you then insert the actual game disk.

One of the things cheat systems can do is give you tons of items in roll playing games. Or endless ammo and shields. Invulnerability. Or it can disable a timer. And the one I like to use, ONE SHOT KILLS!!!! If a game is hard, I just turn that cheat on and only that one. Then Tom is happy. There is just enough game play to still have fun. But I don't have to be some sort of child genius to play these games.

Thanks Captain Bran... that was just what I needed. However even invincibility does not guarantee finishing the game. You may be invincible, but the battlestar is not. It's nice that even with invincibility on you still have a challenge.
