Holy frack!

Talk about hiding your light under a basket!!! Where has this guy been keeping himself?

Welcome aboard Chris...! Your talent is awesome - so awesome in fact that I may have to "avert my eyes" as I am more than humbled. I still draw the old fashioned way!

Best,
Bryan

Chris,

I checked the dimensions with our resident tech guru, Tom (aka thomas7g). Apparently, the entire picture won't fit on the screen, at the same time. Is there a way for you to shrink down the picture size, without sacrificing detail?

We would be happy to display the pic for you. But screen reolution is 72 dots per inch. So it will be too big to be displayed on the screen at one time.

With our banner, even on my big monitor, I only have about 670 pixels left over heightwise. And your pic is close to 1000 pixels tall. Course if you would rather it be big, that's no problem. Its the artist discretion. We are here to help. :D

Hey Chris, I'm curious to how you did this. Did you go digital? Or is this traditional oils?

I use painter alot. It looks like that program to me. I like that program alot, But haven't used it as much since they took away my favorite brush setting (brushy). And I've found it very hard to get back into cause of the complexity of the program.

However you did it, I like it! :D

Hey, all...
Sorry I disappeared for a while there. I didn't mean to "post and run". Tom, in response to your questions as to how I did it; I rendered it in Photoshop, using the Wacom Intuos 2 tablet. I use that for everything, now.

I love how you can "doodle" with freehand sketches, but in the time it takes to do it on paper, you can add full color elements without breaking out all of the messy stuff.

And its cool how you can retain the technique of traditional freehand drawing, and literally transfer the style over to digital without losing anything.

I appreciate everyone's kind compliments on the piece! More to come... Do I send it to you again, Tom?
