I was watching the Skiffy channel earlier before SG-1 started and I saw a new promo for Stargate: Atlantis. The promo is saying that SG:A is "the highest rated program on Sci Fi ever". The promo goes on to say that over 10,000,000 viewers have tuned into SG:A and have made it an unqualified success.

I think that's a terrific promo considering how short a time the series has been running! I'll bet that Skiffy is quite thrilled, considering that MGM is able to produce both SG-1 & SG:A with the same production team simultaneously. It must be a great budget buster in the long run, which will make the bean-counters happy as well.

Here's to a long and successful run!

Best,
Bryan

Just my opinion.....SGA seems to have a lot more action and better stories at the moment. It seems to be a ploy to establish SGA and its characters 1st then pickup the pace later for SG1.

Well, the same could be said for SG1. The original episodes were more action oriented than later seasons. Sure, there was action interspersed throughout the entire run, but the second through to the current season had a lot more thoughtful shows as well :D
