Not sure, to be honest Jim. I know that the 501st/Rebel Legion is in "talks" about another mixer that night. ???? :puzzled: I will keep you up to date as to the programs as they come out. Who else from the normal crowd will be there? Do you have a fan table ???

Seems like a small crowd! But, I am tentatively making plans to attend this year's DragonCon after a 3 year absence.

I guess not much BSG stuff to do anymore, I will be doing much more 501st Star Wars things this time around, but I might still bring my Colonial garb....

That's the plan, Kristi! I hope things stay as they are. I will purchase my ticket come July before the rates change again. I have tentatively secured my room with one of the guys in our Carolina garrison, so it seems to be working this year!!

Kristi, slight hiccup. The guy whose room I will be staying in has now decided that he will go to Trinidad instead of DragonCon!! So he will not be going afterall. I am finding out about his room, though. I think there were two others going to stay in the room as well, so it still might be on.

I have no idea which hotel it is...stay tuned...

Roger that! Let me know ok? I might have a lead on bed if you need it. It might be co ed so let me know if thats going to be an issue. I have a member that backed out of his room too and the room is one that I am holding. But I will not be in it....I am in another room. lol That's what happens when you are the base XO... lol ;)

Update #1: The guy says now that there is a slight possibility that he will be going, but just in case, he will probably transfer the room to the other guy's name so will have it anyways. Still looking good. I believe that it is in the Marriott...

Big Bust!!!! Finances and other things have led to me making the hard decision that I will be UNABLE to attend DragonCon after all... I knew it would be too good to be true!!!!

I am exploring other trooping options here in NC...sorry, Kristi. It's just going to have to wait another yahren.... :(

awwww.... :( its ok... I understand... if you change your mind let me know. One question, if you didn't have to worry about the cost of a room, would that make the difference?

I'm afraid not, Kristi. The cost of the original admission is still pretty steep. Not only that, but I have now cut a deal with my wife to go to another trooping event here in NC in lieu of DC, so I"m afraid that the decision has been made...sorry :(

Dang, I wish I had caught this thread much earlier sounds like fun. To late for making arrangements.

I wish we all would of made a better coordinated effort to meet up last October. To think many of us didn’t meet while we where in the same building.
