Did anyone go?

Was anything good there?

It was... OK.

They had some technical problems (A dvd broke, thankfully not one of Richard's trailers!). There were more venders than at Galacticon - and I scored big on the new cards with the binder (and the new Highlander cards... :: dreamy smile::).

I got to spend time talking to Sarah - she's SUCH a sweetheart! Of the whole cast, she's the most genuinely friendly of them (She's embarrassed about selling her autograph, lol! Love that woman!). Laurette was very friendly too, I have to say - it was fun talking to her! And I talked to Jack (Stauffer) for a few minutes too...

I went out to dinner with Richard on Friday Night (along with Jewels, her husband, friend Brenda and her daughter - who is totally adorable) and with two of Richard's friends, Jim and Gary. Richard picked on ALL of us... very entertaining chap that Richard! =)

I really liked the longer Magellan trailer, there was less spacebattle time I think, but more explaination of the story. It's a many layered story. Lots of potential for development. I hope Richard gets that in front of the right people at the right time: that's all it will take but that's a big trick to pull. He's got enough different elements in it that it could be very successful.

Had fun talking to Jack's wife, Laurette & her sis, listening to Jack's stories. Anne & Richard had folks hanging around them all the time.

Hated that the attendance was light.

Me too - would have been more fun with more people, but as I explained to Dale and Karen (his wife) next time, give a lot more notice and see how it works out =).
