And lastly... here is where I earn my bread and butter.
The book illustrators at Disney had great difficulty at drawing the cyborg arm for the main pirate in the Treasure Planet Books, so they hired me to rebuild the arm from sketches (no blueprints were available) and I turned my computer into a line art drawing. And I din't use any filters! Just a bit of good old fashioned trickyness!!!!
Here is an arm I made

And here is the rough drawing it had to fit into!

Very good work you obviously have talent.
Im regards to the Larson purchase of the movie rights I think that is great news.
Richard should go back to his backers and submit an offer to buy an
option to make his version from Glen. If after a fixed period of time say mid 2004 Glen is not going to do his version then Richard would have the right to make his version under licence from Glen. (Desanto Larson is my first choice).
In comparison to the mini, "pure Kobolian blood" and a "telekinetic" Apollo doesn't look so bad.
If Richard gets the right to do it he already has about 45 minutes of raw footage in the can. He has the volunteer infrastucture to finish it.
If Glen and Richard are truly "friends" Glen will allow Richard to purchase an option to license. This way it WILL get done.

Hey Tom, did the place fill with cheer when Glen made his announcement?

Tom -
I'm really in awe.... The flying sub pics are incredible - that is my favorite "terrestrial" sci-fi craft to date!
The rest of your art is wonderful - I used to be artistically inclined and drew all the time. When I see what you do and how well you do it, I really want to take pencil to paper again.
The CGI stuff is way beyond me though....
Great work!

Damn Sandy! Don't go off! Show some of YOUR renders here. Heck! I was hoping to get you to let me use a few as the splashpage for fleets. I love them :)

I am working on something I'm rather proud of. Its a request piece. I'll check and see if the guy who requested it minds it being shown here. This is a totally new piece that to the best of my knowledge has never been modeled before.
FWIW, I'm also about to publicly release the Viper and Raider models I did a few months ago as soon as I figure out where to host them. Have we figured out where the official BSG model repository is going to be?

I think Darrell really wants to do it on bg.com. And I think that probably would make the most sense. Hopefully he will be recouperated soon. :D
