Hey, I'm a newbie and just wanted to introduce myself...

I'm Steve...long time BSG fan...and original viewer. I'm 33, live in Mississippi and collect all kinds of sci-fi memorabilia. My only claim to fame is having met Richard Hatch at a convention in 97 and Rick Springfield a few months ago.

As far as BSG 2003 goes, I hate what they're doing with the show, but will probably watch it anyway. That way I can fairly critique it and then watch it get flushed.

Anyway, good to meet you folks. :cowboy:

jeditemple,

Welcome to the Fleets!!

Knowing what you know about the mini, is it necessary to watch it? What is there to be gained from seeing that which already disgusts you, portrayed on the screen?

I believe it was Sun-Tzu who wrote "Know thy enemy, know thyself."

I'll watch the new series, so I can condemn it with a "fair and balanced" critique. I hope Fox news doesn't sue me for using their tagline...

jeditemple,

Fair enough. By watching the mini, you would be able to give a first-person viewpoint of the show.

The sad thing is that even if you dislike what Moore and co. have done to BSG, anyone watching the mini is validating their efforts, even if to critique it.

Make sure you make your feelings about the Mini very public once you've seen it. Bad press is a good thing at times.

Since SOMEONE ELSE wrote it ........They can't ......but they
will try.

I'll be taping the Mini so my children can't see it ........
I'll be VERY PUBLIC with my CRITIQUE.
