Here's one that sums up the character interplay:

Good actor interaction. Short but sweet.

They had good writers on that show but for some reason all the good meaty stuff was swallowed up by time,resources,editing,overshadowed by the look, and possibly no faith in what should have been.
I hope BSG gets another shot this time with writers pushing the character drama,and not the shoot em up of the week.

"If you are indeed the strongest force in the galaxy then how do you explain the Galactica?"

Lieter loosens up, and cracks a smile.

"Your Battlestar is quite impressive however,it is but a single warship. We shall dispatch it as the wolf pack does the bear."

Adama reacts uneasy feeling Lieters threat.

"Well I don't know what this wolf pack or bear is, but i'd assume you would need at least a thousand of your destroyers to take on the Galactica if you do intend to engage us."

Whew all of this is actually off the top of my head.
LOL I can't remember for the life of me what is said next, accept that Starbuck interupts Adama , telling him to return to the Galactica and address the Council of Twelve.

I am not as familar as the rest of you, but the one quote to me that ALWAYS screems BSG:

"By Your Command" - every episode

(anyone who has been in the Atlanta airport - doesn't the voice announcing the Tram arrival make you think the Cylons are running that place?)

And my all time favorite scene (the exact quote I can't remember) is from Living Legend. When Baltar is in the Raider bearing down on the Galactica and wants to "savor" her destruction and the pilot Cylon says something to the effect of: "Maybe you want to look at the other Battlestar?" And Baltar says "What other Battlestar?' "That one" I love it!
