Is there any way that we can convince the people at the Simplicity Pattern company to make a Warriors Outfit pattern for us?

Not to say that the costumers on this board are bad at drawing up patterns, but Simplicity does have a good track record when it comes to doing costumes from certain genres.

I have some of their LOTR patterns, one or two SW patterns, and a couple of historical ones.

I know that it takes a lot of time to hand draft a pattern, as well as a lot of talent. It also takes quite a bit of money for the right materials.

If we can't convince them, there are quite a few pattern drafting software applications out there that someone who's reaaaaallllyy computer savvy can use to print them up.

Any thoughts?

Besides, who says that they have to use the BG name? They could simply call it the Questing Warriors line or something like that.

Actually, one of the members of Blackstar Squadron is working on drafting up patterns for the Warrior costume. She's very experienced in the Star Wars costuming arena.

Monolith had commissioned her to make his Costume. give me a bit to find the link to her blog so you can see what she's doing.

I do believe that she's using butter suade for the actual costume.

As of right now no one has made a continuing effort to do a pattern for the jacket.

She's right....that fabric IS hideous!

I've been to her blog before, when I was looking for SOMEONE who had experience with making an outfit.

I'm going to wait until she has the pattern done, and then get my greedy little paws on it.

The jacket is based off of a varsity or bomber jacket, isn't it?

I'll have to look for patterns like that.
