View Full Version : BSG Project, audio recording?

Hi everyone,

I have been thinking about some animated BSG projects. One being a story on the early days of Tigh and Adama when they were fighter pilots. The other could be the "Sentinels" comic I did a number of years ago as an animated episode.

I've posted some visual work on the Adama/Tigh stories here...

For those not familiar with the Sentinels I recently posted it on the Colonial Fleets board.

What I can really use some help with is the dialogue recording. If there is anyone who may want to take on recording the dialogue for one of these stories? Then I can animate the visual aspects for one, or time permitting, both of these. I would supply the script, but whoever would record the audio I would hope you can have fun with this and really do with it creatively what you want. After all the more fun you have with it (or group of people) then the better the outcome will be. And of course the script is not locked in stone, so if during the recording process it sounds better to say something a different way, then go for it! The better everyone feels on a project, the better it turns out.

Not sure if anyone would even have interest in doing such a thing, but if I don't ask I'll never know.

I do think these could be some pretty cool and fun things for us TOS fans. I think it is up to us to carry on what was fun, special and so imaginative in the original series.

And... if these work out it would be great to do 3 or 4 a year, with other people bringing in stories for the BSG universe.

So if anyone has interest please let me know.

Many thanks,

Dave

I have a fairly high-gear audio recording setup these days.

You know my voice or can hear it well enough here at:

If you need some voice acting, I'm in. Send me the script and I'll get you the cuts at CD quality.

The above was done before I got all the new equipment.

Thanks Sandy,

Working with someone now on the audio, so things should be moving forward on that end of it. Will update as things progress.
