I've just found out that I'm getting one from my brother for my birthday this July. One of the necklaces. 14k white gold with the diamonds.
I can hardly wait! :D

This is an obituary I found for Jane's mother.
I have periodically wondered if Mieke (or someone else she was with during World War II) was the inspiration for the Neville Shute novel "A Town Like Alice."
