There was a UK BSG con a year or two back in Birmingham - however due to a pre-meditated conspiracy (ok, maybe not) it was organised for when I had a family holiday booked.
Sometimes 2 or 3 cast members will appear at a Collectormania.com show, but they haven't for while. Nor have some fans as there have been too many 'disappointments' with the organisers for some people.

I understand the cast are very willing, and transatlantic planes run regulary....
I tried briefly to represent an original cast member to arrange convention appearances - and spoke to some Con organisers around the world.
Some were great, consistantly the ones organised by fans (still professional events though)....but the ones run by businesses were.....expecting their cakes and eating them. Or had big egos.
In a world filled with nice people.....it wasn't in the spirit of it all. But they purely wanted to make $.....

Sorry you weren't there last year mate, as it was truly wonderful experience meeting them all there.
And yes, let me go on record saying Collectormania is run by a group of "vultures" and unprofessional types etc. They didn't even let Richard Hatch run his Second Coming trailer to his fans and he had the DVD of it on him etc. They prefer to wipe any incidents under the rug rather than deal with them openly etc. Their website even bans people who went to their shows and vented their disagreements on their forums. I could go on but you get the idea. Please, if you want to organise anything relating to the original Battlestar Galactica stars go through other channels and avoid going to Collectormania altogether. Memorabilia ain't always cheap but they are far more professional that CM's immature money grabbing group by far! Whats the point of turning up at a show, when people think of you as a walking talking "wallet" full of money, that kind of attitude and thinking is truly disrespectful in the extreme!
Heck their organisers screwed over a comic book dealer friend of mine last year even!
To top it off they had Elijah Wood at London ComicCon this July, during England's World Cup defeat at the hands of portugal and all. And had the man hidden around some squares. Apparently the excuse is he is a major star thus kept under wraps. But if thats the case why bother turning up at all its a convention is it not? Carrie Fisher was at the same show but didn't have the same kind of security as she had in the past. Yet if you paid to walk into the show you could see here from afar regardless. Yet you can't see Elijah Wood though?
Yeah right!
London Expo is coming up this month, but it too isn't the best despite the rumors you might have heard about it all. And they don't use up all the hall spaces which is a shame. Go to a computer show fair and the place is full to the brim, go to a comic convention/signing and the hall is barely used at all? and looks like a warehouse and all, nothing fancy is placed inside to dress it up properly either. You'll come away from these shows thinking where the hell did the all money the organisers took from you go exactly??? It suddenly becomes multiple choice after that.
Where did all the money go?
1) Organisers pockets/bank accounts. (most likely)
2) To the stars bank accounts. (somewhat understandable, but sometimes they are very greedy and unprofessional about it all)
3) Or the star's favorite charity? (rarely happens etc.)
I haven't gone to any major conventions in the U.K. recently for obvious reasons.
