Here's the scoop you guys:
Colonial Viper (Special Edition)
Studio Accurate Kit with Clear Canopy, Cockpit Interior, Corrected Rear Detail, Expanded Accurate Decal Set & Pilot Figure
Cylon Basestar (Special Edition)
Studio Accurate Kit with Newly Tooled Detail Parts
Cylon Raider (Special Edition)
Studio Accurate Kit with Newly Tooled Engine Vanes
No plans to re-issue the original Galactica because it would require a whole new tool to make it accurate. Now, if these re-issues do well, then maybe...
Now, the term "studio accurate" is of course going to be an issue of debate amongst the most rabid of ya'll, but given the circumstances regarding the original tools, it's better than you'd have expected. So there!
From that I'm sold. I would like the Raider to have the proper detail at the front though.
It'd be nice if one of the garage kit masters came out with an accurate Big G kit in scale with the Revell baseship though.
