During my vacation time, I spent a couple of hours doing some artwork. So here's another contribution to the Colonial Art section:

The image depicts the battlestars Galactica, Poseidon and Acropolis arriving at Sumeria Prime (fictional planet in the BG universe), providing support to an unseen, outnumbered Colonial fleet who are losing against the Cylons.

This "second wave" of Colonial warships may yet save the day.

The catch here: This takes place before the Destruction of the Twelve Colonies. The outcome of this battle sends the Cylons retreating to Molocay... where the Colonial Fifth Fleet (with Commander Cain and the Pegasus) will engage them... and tragically lose.

Thanks, guys. Let's hope more folks take the time to share their BG art/illustrations here. The BG universe is a large one -- and it would be great to see more visualizations from it.
