Lee Stringer from FOUNDATION IMAGING posted these image the other day, from a demo FOUNDATION IMAGING did for Tom's BSG project, trying to get picked to be the SFX house for the new show. Lee, also worked on Richards BSG:T2C project. I guess it's back to the beginning for them. WOW!!!

Hi,
These are GREAT!!!!! images of the Galactica. Now this moron Moore has to re-imagine the show and more then likely the Galactica herself. The Galactica is majestic. What a joke. At least with Tom DeSanto we were allowed to see the ship that we all loved on the series.

Paul

Ronald D. Moore actually wants the original ship designs used, if possible, including some of Tom DeSanto's designs. (I hope DeSanto's new Viper design pics are released someday. I'm still itching to get ahold of them soon.)
re: Lee's work. Incredible, as always... I still think Mike McAdams has one of the best battlestar CG models, if not the best, out there. (You ought to see his latest updates to the mesh/skinning. Abso-frackin-lutely amazing...)

Why don't you ask Mike to post some of his new images here or at his site so we can see for are selves. Tell us what the new Viper design by Tom would look like if you can.

I've asked Mike, but he's heads-down on GWoM right now. If I distracted him, I would incur Richard's wrath.
Seriously, though, I'll ask again. He truly is busy with GWoM and other projects.
re: Tom DeSanto. I'm between a rock and a hard place right now. I can't explain why we aren't going to see them on the 'net as I had hoped. (Yet, mind you.) They're, um, tied up elsewhere at the moment...
Dwell on that as you may... I seriously can't say just yet. (ugh!)

Hopefully Richard will let Mike take-5 in the near future so he can post some from his updated images. As far as the new Viper design if you can't show us, can you tell us what it would look like. If not that's cool.
Jim:colwar:
PS - I know you do not want to make Richard mad:rage:, if you do, he turns green and:hack: ... sorry wrong show.

Dwelling. It's not working. I'm am so bad at cryptograms! Danged I wish I was better at that telepathy thing! Oh, well, "Yet" can mean "someday" so I will just wait. New Vipers could be a very cool thing to see. As Rigel always said, "Launch when ready" emphasis on READY. *hopes ready = soon*

I think it looks great. A real tribute to the original concept and much more deadlier. There were also a few pictures of the Enterprise from ST:TMP.
