Star Wars fan film coming in 4 days

Hey folks -

I know that there are lots of us that love Star Wars and are eagerly waiting for Episode 3 next month.

In the meantime, I just found out about a Star Wars fanfilm called Star Wars: Revelations. I just watched the trailer for it - it looks damn good for a fan film! I'm really wanting to see this when it comes available!

I'm going to check this thing out. Some of my pals from the Carolina region played stormtrooper parts, so I' ve heard about this movie for a couple of years now...

I wanted to also go and film, but the only shots I could have been in were filmed up near Washington, I think...

Whoa! Their poster was painted by Sonia Hillios. That's pretty sweet. She's done a bunch of Star Wars and Star Trek work. Everything from collectible plates to book and comic covers.

If you guys haven't seen this yet, you really need to!

I watched on on Monday night and I was very entertained. It wasn't Star Wars, but....it was Star Wars. It was very cool, very dark and moody. The VFX were eye popping, though not film quality, still quite an effort for a fan film.

It's only about 40-45 minutes long, but it moves very quickly.

Like I said, you folks need to see this...!
