This is part of my technical review of TOS. I wanted to come up with how and why Viper engines worked and why they were designed the way they were (other than the aesthetic production reasons). I came up with a design that works in two modes. The first is for use in atmospheres, and the second for vacuum operations. Again, these are done in MS Paint, as it’s the only tool I’m any good at working in.

If it's any consolation, it's the only computer medium I'm any good at. I'd show you, but it seems I'm not allowed to post yet

the internal details of the viper engins are beautiful, can't wait to see more. Will you be doing more internal schematics of other parts of the viper like the radar system, landing gears or cockpit? would be nice to see. :)

Thought I would play with the viper engine. The outside is transparent and is a WIP. When I am happy with the innerds I am thinking of doing an explodes view

One nitpick, the front opening is not round like that. Other wise looks great.

Thanks T, you will

Jim the front was based on the 2D piks above and does not reflect the engine intakes on a viper
